New ICC guidance on mobile marketing
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) recently issued new guidance on mobile marketing:
- The ICC Guide for Responsible Mobile Marketing Communications (12 April 2018)
- The Mobile supplement to the ICC Resource Guide for Self-Regulation of Interest Based Advertising (19 June 2018)
Both papers were developed as part of a toolkit promoting a common approach to self-regulation of mobile marketing across borders. Their objective is to helps Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs) and advertisers safeguard consumer trust and privacy in markets with soaring mobile expansion.
